Mumbai Blasts - Aftermath

Ok, what happened here? In their ignorance, the Indian authorities are banning blog websites, in the aftermath of the Mumbai blasts! Well, I guess doing something is better than having no clue who did this, right? So much for freedom.

Well, if you cannot read a blog you want to, try pkblogs.com (unless you are a terrorist. In that case desist). If that is blocked too, let me know and I’ll put up a mirror here.

The Indian news media seems to have done well for itself over the blasts. War for News, a blog on the Indian TV Media shows how the Indian TV channels used the blasts to gloat about their own ‘excellent’, ‘exclusive’, or ‘comprehensive’ coverage. Well, the BBC is carrying a piece that may explain how TV is distorting India’s media.

And, finally, a first hand account from a Swedish friend of a Swedish/Canadian friend - Mumbai Madness
